在Google Search(http://www.google.com/)裡面打入「google translate」按好手氣→連到Google Language Tools網站(http://www.google.com/language_tools)→在Translate Text裡面打入「public swimming pool」選擇「English to Italian」按Translate→查到public swimming pool的義大利文為「piscina pubblica」



繼續在Translate Text裡面打入「Naples」選擇「English to Italian」按Translate→查到Naples(拿坡里)的義大利地名為「Napoli」



回到Google Search (英文版)，裡面打入「piscina pubblica Napoli」按搜尋→找到352000項符合此查詢的結果，選擇第2個查詢網頁並使用「Translate this page」功能→找到游泳池的資料

2. Find a reception hall, local caterer, disc jockey, and bartender that you can hire for a wedding reception at a small winery in Burgundy, France.

在Google Tools (http://www.google.com/language_tools)的Translate Text打入「reception hall」並選擇「English to French」按Translate→查到法文翻譯為「hall de reception」→再查了「local caterer」、「disc jockey」、「bartender」、「Burgundy」的法文，分別為「traiteur local」、「jockey de disque」、「barman」、「Bourgogne」
回到Google Search (英文版)，裡面打入「jockey de disque Bourgogne」按搜尋→找到18000項符合此查詢的結果，選擇第1個查詢網頁並使用「Translate this page」功能將網頁翻譯成英文→找到關於disc jockey在Burgundy的相關資料與服務。

3. “I Love You” 的法文及發音
在Google Tools (http://www.google.com/language_tools)的Translate打入「I love you」並選擇「English to French」按Translate→查到法文翻譯為「Je t'aime」

在Google Search (英文版)裡面打入「Je t'aime pronunciation」按搜尋→找到987項符合此查詢的結果，選擇第1個查詢網頁(http://www.ielanguages.com/french1.html)並使用快取功能看到Je t'aime羅馬拼音的發音為"zhuh tem"

4. Find the first chapter of Le Petit Prince online and have Google translate it into English. Compare this translation with the first chapter of The Little Prince translated by Katherine Woods, which you can find online if you don’t have a handy copy of this lovely book.

在使用偏好裡面先把Google Search的語言改成法文版，打入「Le Petit Prince chapter 1」按搜尋→出現「Essayez avec cette orthographe : Le Petit Prince chapitre 1 」字眼，詢問我是不是這個意思(猜測chapitre為chapter的法文)，按進去→找到736000項符合此查詢的結果，選擇第1個查詢網頁(http://faculty.spokanefalls.edu/Prince/chapitre1.htm)→找到小王子法國版的第一章

在Google Tools (http://www.google.com/language_tools)的Translate a web page打入該網址(http://faculty.spokanefalls.edu/Prince/chapitre1.htm)並選擇「French to English」→看到Google翻譯的小王子英文版本第一章

在Google Search (英文版)的搜尋首頁打入「The Little Prince chapter 1」按搜尋→找到1600000項符合此查詢的結果，選擇第1個查詢網頁(http://www.angelfire.com/hi/littleprince/chapter1.html)找到小王子的英文版本
比對的結果發現還是有些許的不一樣。

5. Restrict your search to France and search for pages in English on the war in Iraq.

在使用偏好裡面先把Google Search的語言改成法文版，打入「Guerre de l'Irak」按搜尋→找到1200000項符合此查詢的結果，選擇第一個查詢網頁(http://www.monde-diplomatique.fr/cahier/irak/)，並使用Google language tools轉換成英文→找到相關的資料

在Google Search(http://www.google.com/)裡面打入「define: catalog」按搜尋→除了英文解釋以外，也找到中文、俄文、義大利文對於catalog的解釋

結論：其他語言的定義解釋是有的，但不一定找的到，像中文打例如「愛」、「圖片」之類的單字都找不到解釋，英文的會較完整。

在Google Search(http://www.google.com/)裡面打入「Jeff Naumberg Stanford University NPR」按搜尋→找到約有76項符合此查詢的結果，但在搜尋第一頁並沒有找到符合此答案的網站→打入「"Jeff Naumberg" Stanford University NPR」→找到2項符合此查詢的結果，第一個是Google Guide關於此Exercies的答案，另一個則是毛老師翻譯的GoogleGuide網頁→接下來又試了幾個查詢關鍵字，例如「Jeff Naumberg NPR」或者連結到Stanford University的網站查詢Jeff Naumberg這個人，皆沒有找到答案→忍不住去看GoogleGuide關於此答案的Solution，發現出錯的為姓，但是其所建議的關鍵字，連進去也沒有找到任何搜尋結果，皆為GoogleGuide的網站跟毛老師的網站，並不如其回答所說，有抓錯誤。
